Maple, Ontario · HVAC and plumbing shops · 1 to 10 trucks
The phone rings while you're on the roof. We pick it up.
GTA Front Desk answers 24/7 in your company name, texts back hang-ups, books only the windows you open, and sends gas, no-heat, and flood calls to your on-call tech. You call the sample shop before you pay. $497 CAD a month, $497 setup, cancel anytime.
How it works
Tell us how you run
Your hours, service area, call-out fee, what counts as an emergency, and who's on call. One short call or email.
We build and test it
We set up the desk in your company's name, then you call it yourself and approve every answer before it goes live.
Forward your line
Keep your number. Unanswered or after-hours calls forward to the desk. You get a text with every job and lead.
Local, and you test it first
Built in Maple, Ontario. Not a US call centre with a Toronto area code. We set the hours, the emergency list, and the on-call number with you. You call it and approve every answer before it goes live. Callers are told it is a virtual assistant. PIPEDA: your customer list stays yours; we say before signup if any provider stores data outside Canada; texts follow CASL.
What it handles
Answers 24/7
Greets callers in your company's name and takes the name, address, equipment and what's wrong. Callers are told it's a virtual assistant.
Emergency routing
Gas smell, no heat in the cold, flooding and other emergencies you define go straight to your on-call tech by call or text. For a gas smell, callers are told to leave the house and call 911 or the gas utility first.
Missed-call text-back
If someone hangs up before the desk picks up, they get a text from your business within seconds, so they don't call the next shop.
Books routine jobs
Offers only the time windows you open, books into your calendar, and confirms by text. It never invents a slot or quotes a price you haven't approved.
Review requests
After a finished job, it texts a link to your Google review page.
Maintenance reminders and a monthly report
Seasonal furnace and AC tune-up reminders to your past customers (within Canada's anti-spam rules), plus a monthly count of calls answered and jobs booked.
What are missed calls costing you?
Put in your own numbers. This is an estimate, not a promise. For reference, ServiceTitan's 2022 study of 3,000+ US and Canadian trades businesses found plumbing shops missed 43% of calls and HVAC shops 38% (source).

Questions
Does it replace my dispatcher or office staff?
No. It covers after-hours, overflow and the calls nobody gets to. You choose which calls it takes.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. You set your line to forward unanswered or after-hours calls to the desk. Turn forwarding off any time.
What counts as an emergency?
You set the list. The default is gas smell, no heat in cold weather, active leaks or flooding, and no water. Those go straight to your on-call person and are never booked as routine.
What about privacy and Canadian law?
We handle caller information under Canada's private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA) and only use it to serve your customers. Callers are told they're speaking with a virtual assistant and that calls may be recorded. Your customer list stays yours. We never sell it or use it for other shops. Some of the software we use may store data outside Canada; we'll tell you which providers before you sign up. Texts and reminders follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL), including opt-outs.
Can I cancel?
Yes. It's month-to-month with no long-term contract. Email us to cancel. The full terms are in the short service agreement you see before paying.
How long does setup take?
Usually a few business days after we have your hours, service area and on-call contacts. You test it before it goes live.
Will it sound robotic?
Judge for yourself. The demo is a live call to a sample heating company, so you hear exactly what your customers would hear.
